I’ve been a THEATRE AND FILM actor for 25 years, and A VOICEOVER ARTIST FOR 6.
I THOUGHT I HAD CLOSED THE CHAPTER ON MY ACTING CAREER AND THEN I FOUND AUDIOBOOKS. THEY REIGNITED THAT SPARK IN ME AND I FOUND A SENSE OF FULFILLMENT IN BRINGING THESE STORIES TO LIFE IN AUDIO.
I’M DRAWN TO characters who are funny, sharp, complicated, and…occasionally unhinged. GIVE ME ALLLLLL THE BANTER. GIVE ME THE SLOW BURN. GIVE ME THE MAGIC THAT HUMS JUST BENEATH THE SURFACE. GIVE ME THE THRILLER WITH THE TWIST NO ONE SAW COMING. GIVE ME FOUND FAMILY AND HEROINES WHO DEFY EXPECTATIONS.
I like the quiet moments as much as the Chaotic ones. The breath before something changes. The line that Hits you a little deeper than expected.
Outside of MY BOOTH, I’m usually tinkering in the garden, playing mermaids in the water, or sitting quietly in awe of my daughter. She’s pure magic, and somehow all the best parts of me.
there are two versions of me: One belongs in the english countryside, happily freezing, clutching a packet of Hula hoops and a cider, insisting London at Christmas is unmatched. The other lives where the jungle meets the ocean, in the water every day, with monkeys in the trees and toucans overhead.
BUT IN EACH SCENARIO…THERE’S A GREAT BOOK. A STORY THAT LEAVES ME FOREVER CHANGED.
